This is a full day workshop that takes place on a sunday. Inner images: Discover inner images through a playful usage of clay or charcoal and paint. After an exercise with clay or charcoal you will continue to draw and paint with both you left and right hand (on large format paper). Through drawing and painting you are free in the buildup and emergence of your unique images. Further artistic expression exists out of painting a background and then transforming the painting in ever changing layers in your painting. You are individually led through this process. Here you can concentrate on a figurative and/or abstract painting. This Sunday orientation workshop is a great opportunity as an introduction for one or more of the courses offered at Atelier Werkplaats Molenpad in Amsterdam.

(Thursday) Connect your voice with visual expression In this painting workshop, the theme is discovering how our voice can be combined with drawing and painting. Through fun and creative exploration, we can discover our unique being through breath,voice and art. This workshop has as special guest, Marian Hoiting, who will show us how to connect with our authentic voice and to connect with the fundamentals of vocal sounds. 50 euro/ all inclusive.We will learn specific voice exercises and translate them into charcoal drawings on paper. Here we will draw and paint with both hands, stimulating especially the right side of our brain. We will then uncover our own vocal composition and translate it into colors, lines and form as a painting exercise. All exercises are great for beginners and experienced artists. The focus of these exercises is on creative fun and tuning in expressing out,in this non-performance environment.
